              Event Description:

              The 5k Bannerman Trail, held during Redgranite Labor Day Festival. The 5k (3.1 mile) run/roll/walk is an out and back trail event, at your own pace. The Bannerman Trail is on a former Chicago and Northwestern Railway corridor. The trail runs from downtown Redgranite to Highway 73, 7 miles to just north of the southern Waushara County line boundary. The trail consists of flat grades, making it easy to navigate. There scenery varies from prairies to forest to marshes and open farmland. You will also see remnants of the old quarry mining industry dotted along the trail. 

              This is a FREE, family friendly event. All are welcome to attend including your leashed dog. Participants can use this walks mileage towards their "Walk-the-Waush" goal. The event will be cancelled if inclement weather on the Facebook page. 

              WHAT TO BRING: water bottle, insect repellent, sunscreen
