Two years ago, the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin connected the DeMars family with the Stevens Point Area YMCA, and since then, amazing things have been happening! With the help of community volunteers, they’ve been working hard to secure funding for a major project. The Community Foundation is excited to announce that Governor Evers just awarded the Waushara County YMCA project a $4.25M grant! And that’s not all—the Otto Bremer Trust has also given the project a $300,000 matching grant.
