Every day we are bombarded with phone calls, phony web sites, mailings and emails giving us "too good to be true" offers. In almost all cases they are too good to be true.
On Thursday, April 25th at 10:00am Grace United Methodist Church will be hosting a panel made up of Officer Hendrickson and K9 Grizz from the Wautoma Police Dept; Barb Richter, Branch Manager of US Bank; Courtney Acelam, Senior Program Specialist of AARP; Michael Domke, Director of Consumer Protection with the Wisconsin Department of Ag and Consumer Protection; and Sharon WIlliams, a local resident who was the victim of a scam.
Each of the panelists will speak for 10 to 15 minutes. You will then have the opportunity to ask questions. This will be open to the public. We hope you are able to join us. Please come a little early to enjoy coffee and baked goodies from the Bread Bar in Coloma.
Grace United Methodist Church is just off of Highway 22 at the south end of Wautoma near the Senior Center. The address is N2133 Southgate Terrace.
