Wautoma Kiwanis

he Wautoma Kiwanis Club meets on Thursday’s each week. The first Thursday of the month (except July & November) we meet at Silvercryst Restaurant 5:30pm Cocktails and 6:30pm Dinner Meeting. On all other Thursday’s of the month we meet at 7:00AM for a breakfast meeting held at Culver’s Restaurant in Wautoma. We have speakers from the community at every meeting. Kiwanis International asked each club to do a special project for the 100th Anniversary and the Wautoma Kiwanis Club choose to add New Playground Equipment for Children ages 2 to 5 years old at Bird Creek Park in May 2016. This was a large project and came together with the help of many people within the club along with Wautoma businesses and many in the community.
In March 2013 the Wautoma Kiwanis Club started the “iPads for Autism Project”. In January 2017 we approved our 27th iPad for a child with Autism. This is an ongoing project to help deserving students with Autism receive an iPad and help them become the best person they can be.
Our FUND RAISERS are August Fest Food Stand, Waushara County Fair Concession Beer Stand, 2 Brat Fries at Stone Ridge, Spaghetti Dinner, Hereford (Beef) Show, Vande Walles Candy Bar Sales, Soda Machine at Bird Creek Park and new for 2017 an Autism Walk/Run.
