            • Welcome to Waushara County

              The Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to its members in assisting their marketing efforts and utilizing resources available to them. Our goal is maximizing a county-wide partnership that creates Waushara County as a destination for potential tourists, a place for local citizens to patronize, and a variety of attractive communities for future development.

                Officers & Board of Directors: President: Ruth Caves, President Elect: Jane Erickson, Vice President: Louis Staaland, Secretary: Jan Klicka, Treasurer: Karen Reynolds, Board Members: Caryn Ruetten, Judy Nelson, Kent Barnard, Linda Steffen, & Susan Zuege.
                Last year the Wild Rose Kiwanis members and network of Kiwanis friends contributed over 2,200 volunteer hours and over $20,000 to sponsored projects and local charities.

                Exciting and meaningful service projects enable Wild Rose Kiwanis Members to be a vibrant part of the community. Some of our favorite projects include:
                Hosting the Wild Rose Kiwanis Spring Concert, now a ten-year tradition
                Serving food at Wild Rose Days
                Providing a pancake breakfast at the Wild Rose Car Show
                Coordinating the Salvation Army Bell Ringing in the Wild Rose area
                Providing scholarships to Wild Rose youth in academics and the arts
                Offering the Phantom of the Opera Bus Trip to Madison
                Participating in community events such as the Blue Ribbon Kid's Day, Bringing Up Grades Lunch, the Waushara Christmas Project, 4th Saturday Lunch, and Highway Clean-up
                Fund raising projects also enable us to donate to many local groups, such as the Wild Cat Boosters, Waushara Food Pantry, Patterson and Pine River Libraries, American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Waushara Prevention Council, ?and more.
